Bio: Damon Parke has been a bike racer since 1996. He comes
from a skiing and soccer background and has always enjoyed the competition of
sport. Damon raced mountain bikes for Team Rage Harpoon in 2000, 2001, and 2002.
In 2001, he led his Team Rage Harpoon five-man open team to victory in the 24
Hours of Snowshoe mountain bike race. In the last couple of years, Damon has
been more focused on road racing and has finished consecutively in the top five.
Last year, he spent nine months in Grenoble, France and enjoyed racing for a
French amateur team. For this year, Damon hopes to upgrade to a cat 2 on the
road as well as a semi-pro on the mountain bike. Damon is studying French and
International Business at Saint Michaels College in Colchester, VT and he will
be graduating in May.
