Bio: Jason has been racing for over a decade now. He started out as a fat lazy naive junior. He started riding his bike because that was the only way to the pizza shop. His first bike race was on the bike he delivered newspapers with, wearing a pair of jeans with the wallet still in the back pocket. He lasted 2 laps before a course marshal yelled at him that there was a race on the course and he had to get on the sidewalk. From there on out he was hooked. It took 2 years before he finished his first race, but somehow kept on going. After the first few years he finally started moving up the ranks. Jason has raced with the prestigious U23 Breakaway Couriers team and GS Mengoni team on his way to Louis Garneau. He has participated in more than 500 races and has a wealth of racing experience both on and off the bike, he has developed the UVM Cycling team, hosted National Championships events and have coached a number of riders on their way up the ranks. Currently Jason is enjoying living in Vermont, commuting to work and racing his bike as much as possible. Besides biking Jason has endeavored into marathons, ultra-marathons, XC skiing, snowshoeing, hiking, and about anything else fun and outside you can think of.
