Bio: Mukunda grew up in the hills of the Berkshires in Western MA. He started cycling in 1999 and spent most of the next two years racing mountain bikes before finding the road and cyclo-cross more his style. Mukunda's first real racing experience started in 2002 when he traveled to California and raced in the Redlands Cycling Classic, Sea Otter Classic, and several other NRC races. From then on he was hooked. Unfortunately soon after Mukunda was sidelined with a hamstring injury. Last year he came out strong with an impressive spring campaign. Mukunda has spent the last few years racing with the NCC Bicycle Club in Northampton and the collegiate UMASS Team. When he is not on the bike Mukunda works at Northampton Coffee a cafe that he owns in Northampton, MA. His favorite leisure activities are cooking hanging out with his roommates and singing in the shower. Mukunda has been training all winter and is ready for another breakthrough season with the Louis Garneau Team.
