Bio: Ted beat himself silly when he first started riding mountain bikes
four years ago. Two years later he decided to invest the time and
effort into training after a solid result at the 2002 collegiate mountain
bike nationals. The spring of 2003 was showing loads of promise,
highlighted by Ted placing 3rd at the collegiate nationals road race, however,
he decided to get up close and personal with some the asphalt in Lake
Auburn, ME letting his collarbone cushion his fall. Ted knows 2004 is
going to be a great season; he is off to a booming start with a 3rd place
finish in the Valley of the Sun GC, and a GC win at Tour of Tucson 2
weeks later, catapaulting Ted to a Cat. 1. Ted is also the president and
captain of the Middlebury College Cycling team. He loves Vermont and
all of New England, even if Arizona offers better training in the winter
months!
