As our time
as undergraduates at Boston College was coming to an end, the Class
of 2000 took the last week before graduation ceremonies to reflect
on the past, wonder about the future, and to party. Senior Week events
allowed the Class of 2000 to come together and look as silly as they
desired at the Dance of the Decades to looking glamorous on the night
of the Commencement Ball. |

The Senior
Luau was held on Sunday, May 14, 2000 at the Waterworks. Food,
drinks, and dancing started off the week as we froze wearing our Hawaiian
shirts and bathing suits tops in the not so agreeable weather. |

On Monday,
the Gatsby
Ball was held at the not-so-welcomed secret location of the Park
Plaza, where people were adorned in zoot suits and feather boas. |

The Dance
of the Decades took place on Wednesday, where the imagination
was one's own limit to the costumes that were worn. |

On Friday,
the week may have been ending, but the weekend was just beginning
with the Commencement
Ball held at the Copley Plaza in Boston. The week of silly costumes
ended as everyone pulled out their elegant attire to start off the
graduation weekend in true Boston College style. |
|
| |
The rest of
the weekend consisted of dinners,
parties, and more parties. Proud family members of the graduates
arrived throughout the weekend, treating their sons or daughters to
wonderful dinners in celebration of the momentous occasion of graduation. |

The all important
Commencement
Ceremonies were held on Monday, May 22, 2001, as parents shed
tears of joy for the accomplishments of their child, but also because
they were no longer required to make tuition payments to BC! |
